Alloys International Response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease)

Ronkonkoma, NY – Alloys International, Inc. is committed to ensuring that your shipments and deliveries will not be affected by the potential challenges of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak that is currently spreading around the world. After a thorough company-wide risk assessment, we are taking steps to protect ourselves and our customers, and to have contingency plans in place in case of any negative impact from this outbreak.

PREVENTION
In order to minimize our exposure to this virus, Alloys International, Inc. is taking the following steps to ensure a healthy workplace:

  1. All employees are encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly many times per day at the office, at home, and in public.
  2. All employees are required to report any flu-like symptoms immediately and are not to report to work unless cleared by their doctor and Alloys International.
  3. All employees are required to report any contact with any individual with flu-like symptoms immediately and are not to report to work without approval.
  4. Our office will be closed to visitors, except when absolutely necessary. Those visitors allowed entry will be surveyed for possible symptoms and/or previous contact before entry is allowed.
  5. Any company business travel will be suspended until further notice. Personal travel will also be strongly discouraged of our employees.
  6. We are flowing down these suggestions to all of our main suppliers in hopes that they will take similar measures to minimize the potential impact of this virus.

PREPAREDNESS
In order to be prepared for any potential impact of this virus, Alloys International, Inc. is taking the following steps to ensure business continuity:

  1. All employees are being cross-trained to be able to take up extra duties if that need arises.
  2. A temporary employment agency has been retained to fill in any required positions in case of prolonged absences.
  3.  Alloys International is temporarily limiting our business intake to ensure that our current orders can be fulfilled in case of a work shortage.
  4. We are flowing down these suggestions to all of our main suppliers in hopes that they will take similar measures to minimize the potential impact of this virus.

Alloys International is not currently experiencing any problems or delays either up or down our supply chain. We promise to be fully transparent with all our customers and to give immediate notification if any problems or delays should arise.

We hope that you find our commitment to business continuity admirable and we look forward to the end of this outbreak and the return to business as usual.
